How Membership Slots and Statutory Member Nominees Work

Membership slots

The number of individuals an organisation may register under its membership. Corporate members may assign or reassign slots among their employees or representatives.

Statutory member nominees

Individuals formally nominated to represent the member and exercise voting rights. Corporate nominees must be selected from the organisation's registered membership slots.

For individuals engaging with the Singapore–Japan business community, from students to working professionals.

Associate Membership

For those who support our mission

Associate Membership is for organisations and individuals who wish to support SingCham Japan but do not meet the eligibility criteria for our other membership tiers.

Fees are the same as the equivalent membership tier — Corporate Membership (Enterprise or SMB) for organisations, or Individual Membership for individuals.

Associate Members do not receive statutory member nomination or voting rights.

A one-time application fee of ¥15,000 applies to all membership plans.

Membership term: Memberships end at the next matching quarter-end (Mar 31, Jun 30, Sep 30, Dec 31). All fees are non-refundable, and discounts apply only at sign-up.

Example: Joining on May 15, 2025 means membership ends June 30, 2026.

Consumption Tax: All prices listed above are subject to prevailing taxes in Japan. The current Japan Consumption Tax (JCT) rate is 10%.
